When do I have to start paying off student loans?
A.
As long as you are enrolled in an accredited college half time, you do not have to pay your federal student loans. The grace period for most loans is six months, and then repayment begins if you do not meet the half-time enrollment criteria. Documentation must be sent to the lending institution confirming enrollment status.
