Q.
How do we apply for financial aid if we live in another country?
A.
If you are a U.S. citizen living in another country, you will still need to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you file a U.S. Federal Tax return, most schools will want to collect a copy of it. If you do not file U.S. federal taxes, you will need some way to document your income. Be sure to check with each institution's financial aid office for further instructions.
