| CAMPUS SUMMARY |
 |
A Non-denominational Comprehensive Christian college in the liberal arts tradition. Our mission is to empower students for a life of enduring commitment to Christ, biblical fidelity, moral integrity, intellectual growth, and lasting contribution to the Kingdom of God.
Founded in 1927 as Los Angeles Baptist Theological Seminary. Moved to Santa Clarita in 1961, just north of Los Angeles. The name changed to The Master's College in 1985 under the leadership of Dr. John MacArthur, internationally-known author, pastor-teacher, and host of radio's Grace to You program. |

| UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS |
 |
A Biblical world view is taught in all courses; 6-day view of creation. General education core is a strong combination of theological and biblical studies and the liberal arts; emphasis on individual attention; majority of classes are small; student-faculty ratio is 16:1. All faculty members are committed to Christ. Nearly 70 percent have doctorates earned or in progress.
An emphasis is placed on spiritual activities -- chapel three times a week; extensive missions opportunities, locally, nationally, and internationally; student government; music ensembles; intramural sports; brother-sister dorms; variety of social activities. |
